Demikian disampaikan Hasto setelah menjalani pemeriksaan sebagai tersangka di Gedung Merah Putih KPK, Jakarta Selatan, Kamis (27/2/2025) petang.
“Karena kemarin ada pertanyaan dari wartawan bagaimana terhadap Ibu Megawati Soekarnoputri, perlu kami tegaskan bahwa beliau ini pemimpin besar, tanggung jawabnya luas tidak hanya nasional, tetapi juga internasional. Karena beliau juga menjalankan misi-misi perdamaian, pemikiran-pemikiran geopolitik Soekarno, bahkan rencana akan mengadakan Pancasila Summit dan itu sangat penting untuk menyampaikan kepada dunia,” kata Hasto.
“Karena itu lah dengan tugas-tugas yang sangat berat dan penuh tanggung jawab bagi bangsa dan negara, maka saya sampaikan kepada penasihat hukum kami untuk memohon kepada Ibu Megawati Soekarnoputri untuk tidak perlu menjenguk saya,” imbuhnya.
Hasto menyatakan dirinya masih sehat dan semangat loh di dalam rutan.
Bahkan, ia rajin olahraga bersama tahanan lain sambil menyanyikan lagu wajib.
“Saya dalam keadaan sehat, bahkan semangat bersama dengan teman-teman di [rutan] Merah Putih ini kami kalau olahraga itu bahkan sekarang menyanyikan lagu-lagu wajib. Tadi ada yang menyanyikan lagu daerah yang penuh semangat,” ujar dia.
