Warga Kampung Jokowi Ngamuk soal Istilah 'Geng Solo' Dikaitkan Presiden ke-7: Harusnya Geng Mulyono

Warga Solo tersebut mengatakan bahwa harusnya julukannya adalah 'Geng Jokowi' bukan 'Geng Solo'.
Protes soal istilah 'Geng Solo' ini disampaikan oleh Ketua Umum Komunitas Wanita Pejuang Indonesia (KWPI) Nasional, Wuri Handayani.
Wuri Handayani mengeluhkan istilah 'Geng Solo' ini dalam podcast di channel Youtube Refly Harun pada Senin (13/10/2025).
Wanita yang juga akrab disapa Wuri Baret ini mengatakan bahwa tidak semua warga Solo itu picik atau zalim.
“Apalagi kata-kata Geng Solo, bahwa tidak semua orang Solo itu picik, licik, dan busuk, apalagi zalim,” kata Wuri.
Mantan Caleg dari Partai Keadilan Sejahtera (PKS) Daerah Pemilihan Jawa Tengah V (Kota Solo, Kabupaten Sukoharjo, Kabupaten Klaten, dan Kabupaten Boyolali) ini menyarankan agar istilahnya diganti Geng Mulyono atau Geng Jokowi.
“Harusnya itu bukan Geng Solo, tapi Geng Mulyono atau Geng Jokowi,” ujarnya.
Istilah Geng Solo ini sebelumnya sudah pernah diprotes oleh relawan Jokowi Mania.
Plt Ketua Umum Jokowi Mania, Andi Azwan pernah menyebut bahwa istilah 'Geng Solo' adalah framming politik negatif berbahaya yang bisa memperkeruh suasana politik.
Bahkan, bisa menimbulkan dampak serius bagi jalannya pemerintahan Prabowo.
