Apala is a young wife living with her in-laws in a village. She is expecting a baby in a few months. One day, she starts to hear heart-wrenching cry of a child in the house. One afternoon, she walks out of her room to search for the source of the crying. What does she find, and what bigger mystery does she unravel?
