Sebelumnya Josua dirujuk dari RSUD Dekai, Yahukimo ke RS Bhyangkara Tingkat II Jayapura di Kota Jayapura lalu selanjutnya dirujuk lagi ke Jakarta pada Selasa (3/6/2025), dengan menggunakan maskapai Sriwijaya Air.
Kaops Damai Cartenz 2025, Brigjen Pol. Dr. Faizal Ramadhani, didampingi Wakaops Kombes Pol. Adarma Sinaga, menyampaikan bahwa pihaknya akan menambah personel guna memperkuat pengamanan di wilayah Yahukimo dan sekitarnya.
“Kami telah memerintahkan penambahan kekuatan personel untuk memperkuat pengamanan di Dekai dan wilayah sekitar, guna menjamin stabilitas keamanan dan mencegah gangguan serupa dari kelompok bersenjata,” ujar Brigjen Pol. Faizal Ramadhani melalui rilisnya yang diterima Tribun Papua di Jayapura Selasa 3 Juni 2025.
