Militer Thailand membantah keras klaim Kamboja tersebut.
Mereka mengatakan tuduhan Kamboja soal F-16 dipakai untuk menyerang warga sipil merupakan fitnah dan disiinformasi.
Pihak Thailand menilai, Kamboja sengaja membuat klaim seperti itu demi memanipulasi politik dan membenarkan agresi.
Pernyataan itu disampaikan oleh pihak militer Thailand dilansir dari The Nation pada Rabu (26/7).
"Tentara Kerajaan Thailand dengan tegas membantah tuduhan ini," kata pihak militer.
Thailand menegaskan bahwa operasinya hanya menargetkan militer Kamboja saja.
Mereka berusaha menghindari serangan yang membahayakan warga sipil.
Militer Thailand juga menegaskan bahwa pihaknya mengikuti aturan internasional dan bertindak berdasarkan akal sehat bukan emosi.
Menurut berita yang dirilis The Nation, Thailand berusaha mengambil keputusan melalui analisis strategis yang cermat, bukan emosi bahkan di bawah provokasi atau tuduhan palsu. (Tribun-Video.com)
