Abraham Samad pun mengatakan bahwa dirinya siap memberikan perlawanan apabila ditetapkan sebagai tersangka.
Demikian disampaikan Abraham dalam wawancara dengan Tribunnews pada Senin (21/7/2025).
Mantan Ketua KPK itu merasa heran kenapa namanya diseret-seret dalam kasus tudingan ijazah palsu Jokowi.
Ia pun meyakini apabila dirinya menjadi tersangka, maka itu bentuk aksi kriminalisai.
Menurut Abraham Samad, cara-cara seperti sangat tidak etis karena kasar sekaligus arogansi.
Abrahan Samad pun mengaku tak akan tinggal diam jika dirinya masuk menjadi tersangka.
Diberitakan sebelumnya, nama Abraham Samad ada dalam 12 nama terlapor dalam Surat Pemberitahuan Dimulainya Penyidikan (SPDP) kasus tudingan ijazah palsu Jokowi, yang diserahkan penyidik Subdit Kamneg Ditreskrimum Polda Metro Jaya.
Hal itu dikonfirmasi Wakil Ketua Tim Pembela Ulama dan Aktivis (TPUA), Rizal Fadhillah, juga Kuasa hukum Tifauzia Tyassuma alias Dokter Tifa, Abdullah Alkatiri.
Sebanyak 12 nama terlapor yang diungkap masuk dalam SPDP selain Abraham Samad yakni Eggi Sudjana, Rizal Fadillah, Kurnia Tri Royani, Rustam Effendi, Damai Hari Lubis, Roy Suryo, Rismon Sianipar, Tifauzia Tyassuma, Mikhael Sinaga, Nurdian Susilo, dan Aldo Husein.
Diketahui kasus tudingan ijazah palsu telah dinaikkan statusnya ke tahap penyidikan usai gelar perkara oleh penyidik Subdit Keamanan Negara Direktorat Reserse Kriminal Umum Polda Metro Jaya, Kamis (10/7/2025).
