KOMPAS.TV - Atraksi sembur api yang diiringi tabuhan drum band meramaikan pawai obor sambut 1 Muharam, yang dilakukan ratusan warga di Sawah Besar, Jakarta Pusat.Ratusan warga, mulai dari anak-anak hingga dewasa, berkeliling permukiman sejauh lima kilometer.
Warga berharap di tahun yang baru lebih damai dan sejahtera.
Tahun Baru Islam juga disambut warga dengan sukacita melalui berbagai cara di Desa Bandung, Kecamatan Banjar, Pandeglang, Banten.
Warga menyambut Tahun Baru Islam dengan pawai obor sejauh lima kilometer. Anak-anak dan orang dewasa bergembira memeriahkan peringatan ini.
Kepala Desa Bandung, Wahyu Kusnadiharja, bilang melalui pawai obor warga diharapkan semakin kompak.
