Pada Jumat (22/8/2025), Brigade Al-Qassam mengumumkan bahwa para pejuangnya menembak mati seorang tentara pendudukan Israel.
Serangan dilakukan menggunakan senapan mesin.
Tentara tersebut ditembak saat ia keluar dari tank Merkava.
Dikutip dari Al-Mayadeen.net, operasi tersebut terjadi di sekitar Masjid Badr, selatan lingkungan al-Zaytoun di selatan Kota Gaza, (18/8/2025).
Sesaat setelahnya, helikopter mendarat ke lokasi kejadian untuk mengevakuasi korban.
Serangan terarah juga dilakukan oleh Brigade Al-Quds.
Sayap bersenjata gerakan Jihad Islam mengatakan, mereka menembaki mesin militer Israel menggunakan peluru mortir standar 60 mm.
Mereka juga melakukan koordinasi dengan Brigade Al-Nasser Salah al-Din, sayap militer Komite Perlawanan Rakyat.
Keduanya menembaki kumpulan pasukan pendudukan dan kendaraan militer di Jalan Al-Villat, sebelah utara Khan Younis.
Operasi itu juga dilakukan dengan menggunakan peluru mortir 60mm.
