SPD-Parteitag: Abschied von Olaf Scholz! Klare Forderungen an Partei: "Das müssen wir erreichen!"

Am zweiten Tag des SPD-Parteitags standen Abschiede und Rückblicke im Mittelpunkt. In seiner Abschlussrede verabschiedete sich Olaf Scholz als Bundeskanzler von seiner Partei. Der 67-Jährige dankte den Delegierten für die Unterstützung während seiner Amtszeit und sprach von einer „großen Zeit“, in der man gemeinsam viel habe bewegen können. „Diese Regierungszeit wäre nicht möglich gewesen ohne die Unterstützung von Fraktionen und Regierung“, so Scholz wörtlich.

Auch Saskia Esken, ehemalige Co-Parteivorsitzende, richtete sich an den Parteitag. Sie hatte in der neuen schwarz-roten Bundesregierung keinen Spitzenposten erhalten und bleibt künftig einfache Bundestagsabgeordnete.

Der Parteitag der Sozialdemokraten dauert noch bis Sonntag. Ziel sei es, das Profil der Partei zu schärfen und in der Bevölkerung wieder an Vertrauen zu gewinnen. Scholz rief zum Abschluss zu neuer Solidarität im Land auf: „Ich jedenfalls glaube, wir sind zu neuer Solidarität in unserem Land aufgefordert.“
