Heftige Waldbrände in Spanien und Frankreich: Tausende Menschen evakuiert

Die Lage der Waldbrände in Südeuropa spitzt sich weiter zu. Spanien rief inzwischen für zwei Regionen den „Notstand nationaler Tragweite“ aus. Wie das Innenministerium mitteilte, gilt der Notstand ab sofort für die Hauptstadtregion Madrid und die Provinz Ávila. So kann der Staat mehr Mittel und Geld mobilisieren. In den vergangenen Tagen sind in Spanien zahlreiche Brände ausgebrochen. Vor allem ein außer Kontrolle geratener Waldbrand westlich von Madrid besorgt Einsatzkräfte und Anwohner. Auch zahlreiche Touristen wurden in Spanien und Frankreich wegen der Feuer bereits evakuiert.
