El conflicto de EE. UU e Israel contra Irán se encuentra en una nueva fase, después de que no se consiguiera ningún acuerdo de paz durante las negociaciones en la capital pakistaní llevadas a cabo el fin de semana pasado. Washington ha asegurado que su bloqueo del estrecho de Ormuz está en marcha y afirma que se extiende hasta el este, alcanzando el golfo de Omán y el mar Arabigo. En ese sentido, la información del seguimiento de buques muestra que dos barcos no lograron atravesar el estrecho debido al bloqueo estadounidense. Por su parte, Teherán ha advertido que ningún puerto en el golfo de Omán estará a salvo si se amenaza la seguridad de sus puertos. Asimimso, en un informe presentado ante la Organización Marítima Internacional, Irán reportó que 3.000 civiles han sido asesinados debido a los ataques de EE. UU. e Israel, incluyendo 277 estudiantes, además de que 125.000 instalaciones civiles han sido destruidas. En tanto, según la revista estadounidense The Atlantic, el jueves, de nueva cuenta en Islamabad, se estaría realizando una segunda ronda de conversaciones directas entre EE.
