PBNU Buka Suara usai Viral Foto 5 Tokoh Nahdliyin Berkunjung ke Israel, Temui Presiden Issac Herzog

Menanggapi foto tersebut, Pengurus Besar Nahdlatul Ulama (PBNU) buka suara.
PBNU menyesalkan adanya pertemuan tersebut.
Hal itu disampaikan PBNU melalui akun X pada Minggu (14/7).
PBNU mengunggah potret yang memperlihakan lima tokoh NU tersenyum bersama Issac Herzog.
Dalam keterangannya, PBNU menyebut pertemuan itu melukai perasaan warga Nahdliyin.
Pasalnya pertemuan itu semestinya tidak terjadi di tengah Israel yang membunuh warga Palestina.
"Pertemuan 5 orang itu dengan Presiden Israel telah melukai perasaan warga Nahdliyin. Tidak semestinya mereka melakukan tindakan tersebut dalam kondisi Israel tengah membunuhi rakyat Palestina."
Hal senada juga disampaikan oleh Ketua PBNU, Savic Ali.
Melalui keterangan di laman resmi NU, Savic mengaku pertemuan itu tidak mengatasnamakan organisasi.
"Kita tidak tahu tujuannya apa dan siapa yang mensponsorinya. Ini tindakan yang disesalkan," kata Savic
Sebaliknya, pertemuan antara lima tokoh NU dengan Issac Herzog merupakan atasnama kunjungan pribadi.
Pasalnya, sikap PBNU berdiri di sisi Palestina dan sedang berkomunikasi intesinf untuk membahas situasi terkini.
Namun, pertemuan lima tokoh NU dengan Presiden Israel justru akan memperburuk citra NU di mata publik.
