A Savero, por exemplo, é a última remanescente da plataforma do Gol.Mas sai deste ringue, pois já está prevista a sua substituição no começo de 2027 pela Tukan, um novíssimo modelo que será produzido pela fábrica da Volkswagen no Paraná, em São José dos Pinhais, com cabine simples, motor 1.6 e cabine dupla, motorização híbrida, motor flex mais elétrico.
A picape Tukan entra no lugar da Savero, mas muda para um segmento ligeiramente superior para beliscar também a campeã Fiat Toro.
