Das Versprechen der Looksmaxing-Szene klingt simpel: besser aussehen, um erfolgreicher zu sein – vor allem bei Frauen. Looksmaxer sind auf TikTok, Instagram und YouTube längst omnipräsent. Doch welches Weltbild pflanzen sie jungen Männern in die Köpfe?Y-Kollektiv-Reporter Phillip Syvarth trifft Looksmaxer Marvin (26), der zeigt, wie Optimierung von Mewing bis Jawline-Training funktionieren soll. Und Benny (21), der noch weiter geht: Er schlägt sich mit der eigenen Faust auf die Gesichtsknochen, um diese markanter zu formen – ein gefährlicher Trend namens Bonesmashing.
Was bringen solche Übungen wirklich? Und welche menschenfeindliche Ideologie aus der Incel- und Blackpill-Szene steckt dahinter?
