Seit Ende Mai sind mehr als 1000 Menschen in der Nähe von Ausgabestellen für humanitäre Hilfe im Gazastreifen getötet worden, sagt die UNO. Die humanitäre Lage vor Ort verschärft sich immer weiter und die Kritik an der israelischen Regierung wird lauter. Fast 30 Länder fordern in einer gemeinsamen Erklärung ein sofortiges Ende des Kriegs im Gazastreifen und kritisieren Israels Umgang mit der humanitären Hilfe.

Heute ist der letzte Schultag in Brandenburg, Berlin und Hamburg. Und auch da merkt man: immer öfter fehlen Kinder vor den Ferien, damit Familien früher in den Urlaub starten können. Erlaubt ist das nicht und es drohen hohe Bußgelder für die Verletzung der Schulpflicht.

In der Ostsee vor der Küste von Usedom sind große Öl- und Gasvorkommen gefunden worden. Sie sollen nun gefördert werden. Auf der Insel sind die Menschen besorgt, dass das der Umwelt und auch dem Tourismus schaden könnte.
