Dalam peristiwa pada Jumat (29/8/2025) itu, sejumlah bangunan, fasilitas umum, hingga gerobak pedagang hangus terbakar.
Salah satunya menimpa seorang penjual mi ayam sekaligus seblak Bu Ela.
Pedagang tersebut kehilangan seluruh barang dagangan, stok daging, hingga gerobak.
Dedi Mulyadi yang meninjau lokasi kebakaran sempat berbincang langsung dengan pedagang itu.
Ia menyampaikan rasa prihatin atas musibah yang dialami.
Menurut Dedi, sang pedagang sempat menangis karena usaha yang dijalani lumpuh total.
Tidak hanya mendengarkan, Dedi Mulyadi langsung memberikan bantuan nyata.
Ia memberi Rp 10 juta sebagai modal tambahan untuk Bu Ela agar bisa membeli gerobak dan memulai usahanya kembali.
Dedi Mulyadi juga memberikan bantuan untuk biaya sewa rumah sebesar Rp7,5 juta kepada Bu Ela agar ia tidak perlu lagi memikirkan biaya sewa selama satu tahun.
