I made this video to show you a side of Himachal Pradesh that most people never see. When we think of Himachal, we imagine peace, mountains, and beauty – but the reality is far darker. Overdevelopment, illegal deforestation, climate change, and overtourism are pushing the Himalayas to the brink of collapse. Every year, hundreds of lives are lost, thousands of homes are destroyed, and crores worth of infrastructure are washed away. These aren’t just “natural disasters” – they are human-made. In this video, I break down how we got here, why the Supreme Court itself warned that Himachal could vanish, and what it means for all of us.References:
