Bharat Ratna For Dalai Lama? Forum of Indian MPs on Tibet Pushes For Highest Civilian Award | N18GThe All Party Indian Parliamentary Forum on Tibet has launched a signature campaign pushing for Bharat Ratna for the exiled Tibetan spiritual leader, the Dalai Lama, who turned 90 on July 6. The forum has claimed to have secured signatures from around 80 MPs so far. The forum is expected to submit the memorandum in front of the prime minister and the president in the coming days.
