Dalam insiden itu, sebanyak tiga tentara Thailand dilaporkan terbunuh.
Mereka ialah Sersan Mayor Kelas 1, Thirayuth Sijuijai dari Batalyon Infanteri Ketiga, Resimen Infantri Ketiga.
Kemudian Sersan Mayor Kelas 1, Apirom Songput dari Batalyon Infanteri Ketiga, Resimen Infanteri Ketiga.
Terakhir, Prajurit Thirayuth Krachangthong, dari Batalyon Artileri Pertahanan ke-2, Resimen Artileri Pertahanan ke-2.
Tentara Kerajaan Thailand (RTA) menyebut, ketiganya terbunuh saat mempertahankan wilayah negaranya dari agresi Kamboja.
Dengan tewasnya tiga tentara ini, jumlah korban tewas dikalangan militer menjadi 14 orang.
Jumlah ini juga telah dikonfirmasi oleh Tentara Kerajaan Thailand .
RTA memberikan penghormatan kepada para prajurit yang telah berkorban sepenuhnya demi membela kedaulatan negara.
Mereka memastikan bahwa keluarga korban akan menerima semua hak dan kesejahteraan yang menjadi hak mereka.
Langkah ini dilakukan sebagai bentuk penghormatan atas pengorbanan mereka bagi bangsa.
Sementara saat ini, Thailand dan Kamboja kembali memanas setelah Phnom Penh disebut melanggar perjanjian gencatan senjata pada Senin malam.
