Suara sirene itu dilaporkan terjadi setelah tembakan roket Brigade al-Qassam, sayap militer Hamas yang menyasar Kota Yated di dekat Jalur Gaza.
Para warga dilaporkan mencari perlindungan setelah adanya bunyi peringatan yang dikeluarkan oleh pemerintah setempat.
Namun hingga saat ini belum ada laporan yang menyatakan adanya korban jiwa maupun kerusakan dari serangan.
Kemudian diketahui, bahwa tindakan yang dilakukan Hamas, secara tak langsung menunjukkan bahwa Perlawanan Palestina tak tidur dan akan kembali berjuang menegakkan keadilan.
Hal itu menyusul dengan meredanya konflik Iran-Israel yang ditandai dengan gencatan senjata, setelah 12 hari saling serang.
Juru bicara Brigade al-Qassam, Abu Obeida, pada Rabu (25/6/2025), menyebut bahwa operasi terbaru mereka itu sebagai "tindakan keberanian dan kepahlawanan yang tak tertandingi."
Pernyataan itu muncul setelah al-Qassam melakukan penyergapan terhadap pasukan Israel baru-baru ini, tepatnya pada Selasa (24/6/2025) kemarin.
Seorang pejuang berhasil meledakkan tank militer milik Zionis di Khan Younis, Palestina, dengan menewaskan tujuh personel di dalamnya.
Obeida kemudian kembali memberikan peringatan kepada Israel bahwa jalan kebenaran akan selalu menang.
