Binnen weniger Stunden erschüttern mehrere schwere Sicherheitsvorfälle Deutschland: Nach dem Angriff auf ein Umspannwerk am Kraftwerk Jänschwalde in Brandenburg kommt es auch am Umspannwerk bei Bergheim nahe Köln zu einem mutmaßlichen Sabotageakt. Ermittler prüfen, ob ein Zusammenhang besteht. Zeitgleich sorgt eine Handgranaten-Explosion in Augsburg für Aufsehen. Während die Polizei bei den Umspannwerken in alle Richtungen ermittelt, stehen mögliche Sabotage, Extremismus oder hybride Angriffe im Fokus. Reporter Frank Schneider berichtet direkt vom Einsatzort in Bergheim über Lichtbögen, Kurzschlüsse und die Folgen für die Energieversorgung.
