Dari tujuh nama tersebut, semuanya merupakan santri dari Ponpes Al Khoziny.
Mereka teridentifikasi berasal dari berbagai macam kota, mulai dari Kota Surabaya, Pamekasan, Bangkalan, Semarang, Jateng, hingga Provinsi Jabar.
Adapun saat ditemukan, beberapa korban didapati dalam kondisi mengenaskan seperti kaki kanan lepas dari tubuh utama hingga harus dievakuasi menggunakan dua kantung jenazah.
