Pimpinan DPR Serahkan Kasus Ambruknya Ponpes Al Khoziny ke Polisi, Soroti Bangunan Tua

Terkait ambruknya bangunan di Pondok Pesantren (Ponpes) Al Khoziny, Sidoarjo, Jawa Timur, kepada pihak kepolisian.
Wakil Ketua DPR RI, Sufmi Dasco Ahmad, menegaskan bahwa persoalan hukum merupakan kewenangan aparat penegak hukum.
Ia menyampaikan hal itu di Kompleks Parlemen, Senayan, Jakarta, pada Kamis (9/10/2025).
Menurutnya, yang paling penting saat ini adalah memastikan kejadian serupa tidak terulang di kemudian hari melalui langkah mitigasi yang lebih baik.
Dasco juga menekankan perlunya perhatian pemerintah.
Terhadap kondisi fisik bangunan pesantren, terutama yang sudah berdiri cukup lama dan berisiko mengalami kerusakan.
Ia menyebut, DPR akan berkoordinasi dengan pemerintah melalui Menteri Koordinator Bidang Pemberdayaan Masyarakat, Muhaimin Iskandar, agar dapat memperhatikan kondisi bangunan pesantren yang sudah tua.
Lebih lanjut, Dasco mengatakan bahwa belum ada keputusan apakah pembangunan ulang Ponpes Al Khoziny akan menggunakan anggaran negara.
Namun, DPR akan tetap mendorong pemerintah agar membantu revitalisasi pesantren-pesantren tua sebagai langkah antisipasi terhadap potensi bencana serupa.
