Alasan Netanyahu Ditinggal Parpol Pendukungnya, Posisi Terpojok hingga Nasib Koalisi di Ujung Tanduk

Sebuah partai Yahudi aliran Haredi atau Ultra-Ortodoks Israel, United Torah Judaism (UTJ) keluar dari koalisi pemerintahan Netanyahu.
Sikap tersebut merupakan bentuk protes mengenai rancangan undang-undang wajib militer.
Partai tersebut menganggap pemerintahan Netanyahu gagal menyusul RUU untuk mengecualikan siswa yeshvia dari wajib militer.
Siswa yeshvia sendiri merupakan para pelajar laki-laki Yahudi Orodoks yang belajar di lembaga pendidikan agama berfokus pada studi Taurat dan Talmud.
Pengumuman mundurnya partai Yahudi dari pemerintahan Netanyahu itu disampaikan pada Senin (14/7).
“Sesuai dengan instruksi (rabi), anggota Knesset Degel Hatorah akan meninggalkan pemerintahan dan koalisi hari ini," kata Rabbi Dov Lando, juru bicara pemimpin spiritual fraksi Degel Hatorah.
Setelah pengumuman tersebut, enam dari tujuh anggota UTJ yang tersisa telah menulis surat pengunduran diri.
Sebelumnya, sudah ada tujuh anggota Knesset dari partai UTJ yang meninggalkan pemerintahan.
Adapun proses pengunduran diri mereka akan memakan waktu 48 jam, untuk memberi waktu Netanyahu jika ingin meyakinkan partai agar mengubah keputusan. (Tribun-Video.com/Tribunnews.com)
