Di Meir Medical Center, 25 pasien demam Virus West Nile dirawat di rumah sakit, dua di antaranya berada dalam kondisi serius dan diberi obat penenang.
Pasien tambahan dirawat di Rumah Sakit Ichilov di Tel Aviv.
Virus West Nile sendiri digolongkan sebagai virus yang cepat menular pada orang lain.
