Prabowo menyayangkan kekisruhan yang terjadi saat demo menuntut Sudewo mundur terjadi.
Menteri Sekretaris Negara (Mensesneg) Prasetyo Hadi mengatakan pemerintah pusat akan terus memonitor kasus tersebut.
Menurutnya, pemerintah pusat telah melakukan koordinasi dengan Gubernur Jawa Tengah Ahmad Luthfi untuk mencari jalan keluar terkait kasus Sudewo.
Prasetyo berharap kasus yang menyeret kader Gerindra itu bisa diselesaikan agar kehidupan ekonomi warga Pati kembali berjalan normal.
Pernyataan itu disampaikan Mensesneg pada Rabu (13/8).
"Kami selaku pemerintah pusat menaruh perhatian dan memohon kepada semua pihak untuk juga menahan diri. Bapak Bupati juga secara personal kami juga berkomunikasi," ucap Prasetyo.
Prasetyo mngetakan Istana menghormati proses unjuk rasa yang dilakukan oleh warga Pati.
Selain Istana, Kementerian Dalam Negeri (Kemendagri) juga memonitor kasus Bupati Pati Sudewo.
