Viral Pidato Siswa SMA di Nepal yang Disebut Jadi Pemantik Demo, Ajak Gen Z Berani Lawan Korupsi

Dalam pidatonya, Raut mengajak generasi muda untuk bangkit melawan ketidakadilan dan korupsi.
Dikutip dari WION pada Sabtu (13/9/2025), Avishka Raut merupakan ketua kelas di Holy Bell English Secondary School.
Pidatonya disampaikan saat acara tahunan ke-24 di sekolahnya yakni pada 14 Maret 2025, namun baru viral beberapa hari belakangan.
Raut menyuarakan keresahan yang dialami banyak anak muda di Nepal, terutama soal pengangguran, permainan politik, dan korupsi.
"Korupsi telah tumbuh dalam jaring yang memadamkan cahaya masa depan kami," ujar Raut.
Ia pun menilai, generasi muda punya andil besar untuk mengubah kondisi tersebut dan membawa Nepal menjadi lebih baik.
"Kita adalah api yang akan membakar habis kegelapan. Kita adalah badai yang akan menyapu bersih ketidakadilan dan membawa kemakmuran," imbuhnya.
Pidato berapi-api Raut ditutup dengan seruan bahwa masa depan bangsa ada di tangan pemuda.
Video siswa SMA tersebut menyebar cepat di tengah larangan pemerintah Nepal terhadap 26 aplikasi media sosial, termasuk Facebook dan YouTube.
Larangan ini memicu kemarahan generasi muda yang membuat mereka turun ke jalan.
Awalnya massa hanya menuntut pencabutan larangan medsos, tetapi aksi berkembang menjadi gerakan anti-pemerintah.
Namun, situasi memanas saat para pengunjuk rasa membakar gedung parlemen dan kediaman pribadi Perdana Menteri Sharma Oli.
Hal ini membuat Oli serta Presiden Nepal Ram Chandra Poudel memutuskan mundur dari jabatannya.
Total korban jiwa akibat demo ini mencapai 51 orang, termasuk istri mantan PM Nepal Rajyalaxmi Chitrakar.
