Prosegue l’espansione dei boschi urbani a Treviso. In viale Brigata Marche, nel quartiere Selvana, è stata inaugurata una nuova area verde di circa 10 mila metri quadrati con la messa a dimora di mille alberi tra frassini, aceri, carpini e gelsi. L’intervento rientra nel progetto nazionale Mosaico Verde, promosso da Azzeroco2 e Legambiente con il contributo di Edison Energia. «Negli ultimi sei anni abbiamo piantato 21 mila alberi e puntiamo a raggiungere quota 28 mila entro fine mandato», ha spiegato l’assessore all’Ambiente Alessandro Manera. Il terreno, acquisito dal Comune nell’ambito della lottizzazione Panigai, fa parte di un’area più ampia di 61 mila metri quadrati destinata a diventare bosco.
