Hal itu disampaikan Presiden saat menghadiri pengukuhan hakim MA di gedung Mahkamah Agung, pada Kamis, (12/6/2025).
"Saya Prabowo Subianto Presiden Republik Indonesia ke-8 hari ini mengumumkan bahwa gaji-gaji hakim akan dinaikkan," kata Prabowo.
Gaji para hakim dinaikan demi menaikan tingkat kesejahteraan hakim. Besaran kenaikan gaji bervariasi disesuaikan dengan golongan.
"Di mana kenaikan yang tertinggi mencapai 280 persen dan golongan yang naik tertinggi adalah golongan yang paling Junior, paling bawah," katanya.
Presiden memastikan bahwa kenaikan gaji semua hakim saat ini signifikan.
Presiden berharap dengan naiknya gaji, unsur yudikatif menjadi kuat.
Presiden mengaku bahwa kenaikan gaji hakim sekarang ini masih kurang.
Pasalnya selama 18 tahun hakim tidak menerima kenaikan gaji.
"Saya sebenarnya masih anggap ini kurang besar tapi sudahlah, 18 tahun hakim tidak menerima 3 % saja enggak terima, benar? 5% saja tidak terima, benar? hari ini presiden Prabowo Subianto ambil keputusan naik yang paling junior 280%," pungkasnya.(*)
