Aging, Anxiety, Chronic Illness all share a common thread-neuroinflammation. Lifestyle changes (diet, sleep) and Meditation can help reduce this neuroinflammation and slow the decline in the experience of life. In fact, meditation increases brain thickness, function, connectivity, integration, and biological age and wraps the brain in pleasantness to be in sync with nature.

Academic, Aging, Brain, Meditation, Mental health Bala graduated medical school from JIPMER, Puducherry, India. He did his anesthesiology residency training at the prestigious All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi, India. He then did his anesthesiology fellowships and master's in Public Health at Harvard. He is currently a neuroscientist exploring consciousness, cognition, and compassion through research, education, and outreach efforts at the Sadhguru Center.
