Kejadian itu tepatnya berlokasi di depan Hotel Bela, Kelurahan Jati, Kecamatan Ternate Selatan.
Potongan kaki pertama kali ditemukan oleh petugas kebersihan, Kamis (28/8/2025), sekira pukul 06.15 WIT.
Penemuan ini sangat menarik perhatian warga, pasalnya bagian tubuh tersebut terbungkus rapi dalam kantong plastik berwarna kuning.
Polsek Ternate Selatan yang mengetahui kejadian itu lantas langsung turun ke lokasi penemuan.
Usai dilakukan penyelidikan lebih lanjut, terungkap sebuah fakta mengejutkan.
Rupanya potongan kaki itu merupakan milik seorang pasien yang baru saja menjalani operasi amputasi di RSUD Chasan Boesoirie.
Pasie tersebut diketahui mengidap tumor ganas di kaki kiri, yang membuatnya harus dilakukan tindakan amputasi.
Usut punya usut, potongan kaki itu dibuang oleh seorang tukang ojek yang diperintahkan langsung oleh orang tua pasien, Wince (40).
Namun belum diketahui pasti apa motif Wince membuang potongan kaki anaknya tersebut.
