Nel caso Garlasco, gli ultimi sviluppi riguardano i nuovi accertamenti sui test del DNA effettuati nel 2007 sui pedali della bicicletta di Alberto Stasi. La Procura di Pavia ha spiegato che nei dati grezzi del RIS di Parma sono state individuate due analisi effettuate il 20 settembre 2007 sul campione bu_p, entrambe risultate negative, mentre il giorno precedente un’analisi dello stesso campione aveva rilevato il profilo genetico allora attribuito a Chiara Poggi. I due risultati negativi, secondo la Procura, non risultano essere stati inseriti negli atti del procedimento a carico di Stasi. I consulenti della Procura hanno confermato la loro esistenza e hanno ritenuto che la contraddizione avrebbe dovuto essere ulteriormente approfondita.
