Kadiv Humas Polri Irjen Pol Sandi Nugroho dalam rilis pada Rabu (19/6/2024) menilai, aksi pembunuhan yang menimpa Vina dan Eky sangat sadis.
Sandi menyebut, keduanya mendapat perlakuan yang sangat kejam.
Diungkapkan oleh Sandi, Vina dan Eky mengalami luka yang cukup parah bahkan mengalami patah rahang.
Luka-luka tersebut berasal dari senjata tajam dan juga benda tumpul.
Adapun almarhum Eky dinyatakan meninggal di lokasi kejadian, sedangkan Vina masih dalam keadaan hidup.
Namun Vina menghembuskan nafas terakhirnya tak lama setelah ditemukan.
Terkait kasus ini, polisi telah menangkap sembilan tersangka.
Sebanyak delapan di antaranya sudah divonis hukuman penjara oleh majelis hakim.
Adapun satu di antaranya yakni Saka Tatal sudah bebas karena mendapat vonis paling ringan mengingat dirinya masih di bawah umur saat kejadian.
Sementara satu orang tersangka atas nama Pegi Setiawan baru ditangkap selang delapan tahun setelah peristiwa.
