Solo Heliostat 2,942,564 Score - Top 1% Score w/ Winter's Wrath Encounter Skip [Destiny 2]
Destiny 2 Call to Arms Event - Solo Heliostat: 2,942,564 Score - Call to Arms Top 1% Score w/ Winter's Wrath / How To Get Top 1% Score in Heliostat Guide. Just a video showing a 2.96 million high score in Heliostat activity for Call to Arms.Bungie made changes to the event which allows the use of positive modifiers without losing points, along with nearly all of the loadout restricted options being equal (no more 3x bow is needed). Power level only plays a slight part in the points difference, compared to before where it was near impossible to reach the thresholds at lower power. So the goal is still to these with the highest number of negative modifiers possible, while also using as many of the positive modifiers to support your build. Each of the activities have a different scoring system behind them, and here's how Heliostat works:
Points in this is purely based on completing the activity as quickly as possible. The amount of enemies you defeat will not change the points you get, so go as fast as possible. This is the same scoring system as The Coil and The Salt Mines (minus the bonus objectives and high value target), but not the same for Proving Grounds.
As for the run itself, there's definitely a LOT of room for improvement, and this is the one that will likely have the biggest disparity between fireteam scores vs solo scores. That's because this will significantly speed up by having multiple people in different locations at once, particularly in the later jumping puzzle section. To help with that, you can use Winter's Wrath to skip the first section, which will give you a massive timesave there (it's the same as it was in Spire of the Watcher years ago). Groups can also do this while benefitting from the multiple locations at once, and better fights and movement will make even a lot of solo runs overtake this, as I didn't really have the best sections at all. Either way it's still top 1% for now, but given how much of an advantage fireteams will have in here, I don't see myself running this back to optimise it anymore than this.
The goal is to have at least one run with each activity since the update, and then I'll likely leave the event there. I've also posted 3 different Heliostat runs in the last week, so that's enough for me. I think this run will probably hold up for 1% at the end, but I feel like Heliostat will be difficult due to the nature of fireteams being naturally a lot faster there due to the split objectives vs solo.
