In einem Schreiben an die Bundestagsabgeordneten von Union und SPD zum Jahresauftakt hat Bundeskanzler Friedrich Merz der Ankurbelung der deutschen Wirtschaft für 2026 höchste Priorität eingeräumt. Alle bisher getroffenen Entscheidungen hätten die wirtschaftliche Wettbewerbsfähigkeit Deutschlands bislang nicht hinreichend verbessern können, die Lage sei „in einigen Bereichen sehr kritisch“, heißt es in dem vierseitigen Schreiben des Regierungschefs.
➡️ Daraus folgert der Kanzler:
„Wir werden uns im Jahr 2026 deshalb darauf konzentrieren müssen, die richtigen politischen und gesetzlichen Entscheidungen zu treffen, um die Standortbedingungen durchgreifend zu verbessern.“
