Continúan las negociaciones entre las delegaciones de EE. UU. e Irán
Parte del equipo negociador de Irán ha abandonado Suiza tras varias horas de intensas conversaciones con Estados Unidos para negociar un acuerdo de paz definitivo. No obstante, otra parte de la delegación, encabezada por el viceministro de Relaciones Exteriores iraní, Kazem Gharibabadi, permanecerá en el país helvético para continuar con las negociaciones. En tanto, los mediadores de Pakistán y Catar señalaron que las conversaciones han mostrado un progreso alentador. Por su parte, el canciller iraní, Seyed Abás Araqchí, afirmó que Washington aceptó levantar las sanciones al petróleo y liberar parte de los activos congelados de la nación persa. Asimismo, elogió el importante avance en las conversaciones para poner fin a la guerra en Líbano mediante la creación de una "unidad de gestión de conflictos". Mientras tanto, Israel sigue desafíando los esfuerzos diplomáticos. El primer ministro de Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu, reiteró que sus tropas se mantendrán en el sur de Líbano todo el tiempo que sea necesario.
