Pemberian hadiah tersebut berlangsung saat Prabowo menjamu skuad Garuda di kediamannya, Jalan Kertanegara Nomor 4, Jakarta Selatan, pada Jumat (6/6/2025).
Salah satu pemain, Justin Hubner, mengunggah foto jam tangan yang diterima melalui Instagram Story.
Yang diduga merupakan model Rolex GMT-Master II berdasarkan kemiripan desain dan kemasannya.
Dikutip dari situs resmi Rolex, GMT-Master II dikenal sebagai simbol prestise dan ketepatan waktu, pertama kali dirancang untuk kebutuhan para pilot penerbangan jarak jauh.
Harga jam tangan tersebut dibanderol mulai dari Rp185 juta hingga Rp761 juta, tergantung pada model dan variasi warnanya.
Ketua Badan Tim Nasional (BTN), Sumardji, mengonfirmasi bahwa jam tangan tersebut merupakan hadiah langsung dari Presiden Prabowo Subianto, dan berasal dari dana pribadi.
Ia menyampaikan terima kasih atas perhatian dan dukungan yang diberikan kepada tim nasional.
Diketahui, Prabowo Subianto juga baru saja diangkat sebagai Dewan Kehormatan PSSI, dan menunjukkan komitmen penuh terhadap kemajuan sepak bola nasional.
