Türkiye-Mısır birleşirse ne olur? Amiral Cihat Yaycı’dan uyarı
Doğu Akdeniz ve Afrika ekseninde dengeleri etkileyebilecek yeni bir sayfa açılıyor. Türkiye ile Mısır arasındaki ilişkiler, uzun yıllar süren soğukluğun ardından yeniden stratejik bir zemine oturuyor. Haritanın başında GZT Yayın Yönetmeni Doğukan Gezer soruyor, Topkapı Üniversitesi Öğretim Üyesi Müstafi Tümamiral Cihat Yaycı sürecin arka planını anlatıyor.Türkiye ve Mısır, Doğu Akdeniz’in en uzun kıyılarına sahip iki ülke. İlişkilerin bozulduğu dönemde Kahire’nin Yunanistan, İsrail ve Güney Kıbrıs Rum Yönetimi ile geliştirdiği iş birlikleri, deniz yetki alanları ve enerji hatları üzerinden Türkiye’yi dışlayan bir tablo ortaya çıkarmıştı. Ancak 2023 sonrası başlayan temaslar, bu denklemi değiştirdi. 2026 Şubat’ında Kahire’de imzalanan sekiz anlaşma; birçok başlıkta yeni bir sayfa açtı.
Özellikle enerji ve LNG iş birliği, EastMed hattı etrafında şekillenen projelerin geleceğini tartışmaya açtı. Libya ve Afrika sahasında rekabet yerine koordinasyon sinyali verilmesi ise bölgesel dengeleri doğrudan etkiliyor. Bu yakınlaşma, İsrail-Yunanistan-GKRY üçlüsünün Doğu Akdeniz’de kurmaya çalıştığı baskı hattını zayıflatırken, Ankara-Kahire hattını yeniden merkez konuma taşıyor.
Enerji, savunma ve jeopolitik eksende şekillenen bu süreç, yalnızca iki ülkeyi değil; Doğu Akdeniz’in geleceğini ilgilendiren yeni bir stratejik dönemin habercisi.
