Juru Bicara Kemenlu RI, Yvonne Mewengkang mengatakan, Indonesia tetap pada pendirian tidak akan mengakui Israel selama Palestina belum merdeka.
Sebab itu, kata Yvonne, tidak ada pengakuan atau normalisasi, termasuk dalam baliho yang ditayangkan oleh Abraham Accords.
Dia mengatakan, penegasan ini juga pernah disampaikan Menteri Luar Negeri RI, Sugiono, sebelumnya.
Bahwa visi apa pun terkait Israel harus dimulai dari pengakuan terhadap kemerdekaan dan kedaulatan Palestina.
Sebelumnya viral balijo besar berlogo Abraham Shield di Tel Aviv, Israel, yang menampilkan foto Presiden Indonesia Prabowo Subianto.
Dalam baliho tersebut, Prabowo tampak berdiri bersama Perdana Menteri Israel Benjamin Netanyahu, Presiden Uni Emirat Arab Mohammed bin Zayed Al-Nahyan, Raja Yordania Abdullah II.
Terdapat pula foto Putra Mahkota Arab Saudi Mohammad bin Salman, Presiden Mesir Abdul Fattah as-Sisi, dan Presiden Palestina Mahmoud Abbas.
Sementara itu, Presiden Amerika Serikat Donald Trump berada di antara para pemimpin tersebut.
Baliho itu juga memuat tulisan dalam bahasa Inggris yang berarti, “Pak Presiden, Israel berdiri di samping rencanamu," yang dianggap sebagai dukungan Israel terhadap strategi Trump untuk Gaza pasca-perang.
Setelah diunggah di akun X dengan username @AbrahamShield25 pada Minggu (28/9/2025), foto baliho yang telah dilihat lebih dari 2,9 juta kali itu memicu perdebatan di media sosial, termasuk dari kalangan warganet Indonesia.
Hal ini mengingat Indonesia secara konsisten mendukung kemerdekaan Palestina sejak era Presiden Soekarno dan tidak memiliki hubungan diplomatik dengan Israel.
Foto baliho Abraham Shield itu muncul tak lama setelah pidato Prabowo di Sidang Umum PBB pada Selasa (23/9/2025).
Dalam pidatonya, Prabowo menyampaikan bahwa Indonesia terbuka untuk mengakui Israel, namun hanya jika Israel terlebih dahulu mengakui kedaulatan dan kemerdekaan Palestina.
Meski demikian, Netanyahu, dalam pidatonya di forum yang sama, menyebut pidato Prabowo sebagai sinyal positif bagi Israel
