Delcy Rodríguez explica por qué reabren embajadas entre Estados Unidos y Venezuela
La Presidenta Encargada de Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, señaló este 9 de enero de 2026 tras la inauguración de obras de salud en La Candelaria, que la apertura de embajadas entre Venezuela y Estados Unidos "tiene como objetivo reiterar la denuncia contra la agresión que sufrió nuestro pueblo, porque nuestras mujeres, nuestros hombres, nuestras niñas, nuestros niños fueron profundamente impactados por una agresión de esta naturaleza. El pueblo venezolano no merece este tratamiento, no merece estas agresiones por parte de una potencia nuclear. Pero nuestra respuesta será en el ámbito de la diplomacia, y lo dije: Nos vamos a ver cara a cara con la diplomacia, y nosotros iremos con nuestra Diplomacia Bolivariana de Paz a defender la paz de Venezuela, la estabilidad de Venezuela, a defender el futuro, a defender nuestra Independencia y a defender nuestra soberanía sagrada e irrenunciable".Señala que este es un camino para levantar banderas de reivindicación y que permita asegurar el retorno de Nicolás Maduro y con Cilia Flores.
También reiteró su agradecimiento a los presidentes de Brasil, Colombia y España, y al emir de Qatar.
