Er fordert die Terror-Organisation auf, sie solle auf den Trump-Netanjahu-Deal „jetzt einschlagen, sonst wird es für sie bittere Konsequenzen haben“.Im Exklusiv-Interview mit BILD-Vize Paul Ronzheimer spricht Bundesaußenminister Johann Wadephul (62, CDU) aber auch von einer Entfremdung von Israel, die seiner Meinung nach schon vor dem Terror des 7. Oktober begonnen habe. Er erklärt diese auch mit der Politik der israelischen Regierung.
Im BILD-Interview mit Paul Ronzheimer erinnert sich Wadephul zunächst ganz persönlich an den 7. Oktober 2023, als die Terroristen 1200 Israelis töteten und 250 Geiseln verschleppten.
