Kettenreaktion auf der A5 bei Hirschberg : BMW löst Unfall mit fünf Fahrzeugen aus, drein Verletzte
Hirschberg/Rhein-Neckar-Kreis: Am Samstag gegen 10.10 Uhr kam es auf der A5 in Fahrtrichtung Darmstadt, kurz vor der Anschlussstelle Hirschberg, zu einem Verkehrsunfall mit fünf beteiligten Fahrzeugen.Aufgrund einer Fahrbahnverengung durch Gehölzarbeiten hatte sich ein Rückstau gebildet. Vier Autofahrer konnten rechtzeitig anhalten. Ein 58-jähriger BMW-Fahrer erkannte die Situation jedoch zu spät und fuhr mit hoher Geschwindigkeit auf einen Volvo auf. Durch die Wucht des Aufpralls wurde eine Kettenreaktion ausgelöst, bei der insgesamt fünf Fahrzeuge beschädigt wurden.
Drei Personen wurden verletzt, darunter eine Frau schwer, jedoch nicht lebensbedrohlich. Alle Verletzten kamen zur weiteren Behandlung in umliegende Krankenhäuser.
Vier Fahrzeuge waren nicht mehr fahrbereit und mussten abgeschleppt werden. Die Autobahn war bis 12.40 Uhr teilweise gesperrt, der Verkehr wurde über den Standstreifen geleitet.
