Bahlil Bantah Baru Bertindak Cabut Izin Usaha Tambang Raja Ampat seusai Viral, Klaim Kerja Marathon

Ia menegaskan bahwa pencabutan izin ini dilakukan berdasarkan evaluasi bukan dari desakan publik.
"Jadi ini bukan atas dasar si A, si B, si C," kata Bahlil dalam konferensi pers di Istana, Jakarta, Selasa (10/6/2025).
Bahlil pun menegaskan pencabutan IUP ini adalah tahap pertama, di mana pemerintah masih melakukan proses evaluasi terkait pertambangan lainnya.
Ia juga menjelaskan bahwa proses evaluasi ini adalah bentuk kerja marathon dari pihaknya setelah dilantik Presiden Prabowo sejak Oktober 2024.
"Bahwa Presiden Prabowo kan kami dilantik menjadi Menteri ESDM, Kabinet ini kan 2024 Oktober akhirnya. Dua bulan kami melakukan kerja, perpresnya keluar Januari, langsung kami kerja marathon. Dan kita kan melakukan penataannya kan banyak," tegasnya.
Sebagai informasi, kegiatan tambang di Raja Ampat memang menjadi sorotan publik.
Banyak yang menolaknya karena dinilai akan merusak ekosistem dan lingkungan alam di area wisata.
Setelah isu ini mencuat dan menjadi buah bibir, pemerintah lantas mencabut empat izin usaha tambang di Raja Ampat.
Di antaranya PT Kawei Sejahtera Mining, PT Mulia Raymond Perkasa, PT Anugerah Surya Pertama, dan PT Nurham.
