Aksi unjuk rasa memanas hingga diwarnai aksi melempar sandal dan botol terhadap Bupati Pati, Sudewo.
Momen itu terjadi saat Sudewo akan menemui para demonstran.
Namun, belum sampai membuat pernyataan, massa langsung melempar botol hingga sandal ke arah Sudewo.
Bahkan, ada sebuah mobil yang dibakar dalam insiden itu.
Massa mendesak agar Sudewo mundur dari jabatannya atau dilengserkan secara paksa oleh warga.
Setelah demonstrasi berakhir, muncul kabar jika Sudewo menyatakan mundur.
Namun, kabar tersebur ditepis oleh Sudewo saat diwawancarai secara eksklusif oleh Pimpinan Redaksi (Pimred) Tribun Jateng, Ibnu Taufik Juwariyanto, di Pendopo Kabupaten Pati.
Sudewo menyebut jika kabar kemundurannya ialah hoaks.
Sebelumnya, Sudewo menyatakan bahwa dirinya tak akan mundur sebagai Bupati Pati.
Alasannya, karena dirinya dipilih langsung oleh rakyat secara konstitusional.
