US-Iran ceasefire: Israeli PM says Lebanon not included in truce
Israel's invasion of southern Lebanon and ongoing strikes across the country have created a severe displacement crisis, with more than 15 percent of the population now homeless. At least eight people were killed in an Israeli airstrike on a café in the coastal city of Sidon, shortly before a two-week US-Iran ceasefire came into effect. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has said Lebanon is not included in the truce, and strikes have continued in the south. More than 1,500 people have been killed since the conflict began, and the near-bankrupt Lebanese government is struggling to shelter and support the displaced.Al Jazeera's Zeina Khodr reports from Sidon, Lebanon.
