KBRI Teheran Siaga 1, Menlu: Mohon Tetangga Iran, Mudahkan Evakuasi 380 WNI
SAINT PETERSBURG, KOMPAS.TV - Menteri Luar Negeri Sugiono menegaskan telah menetapkan status Siaga 1 untuk Kedutaan Besar Republik Indonesia di Teheran, Iran seiring meningkatnya eskalasi perang Iran-Israel.Karena itu, Menlu juga meminta KBRI Teheran untuk menyiapkan rencana evakuasi 380 WNI di Iran lewat jalur darat apabila situasi semakin buruk.
Menlu Sugiono menyebut situasi eskalasi konflik Iran-Israel semakin meningkat dalam dua hari terakhir.
Karena itu, dia memutuskan peningkatan status Siaga 1 di KBRI Teheran dan meminta KBRI menyiapkan rencana kemungkinan evakuasi bagi WNI di Iran.
Indonesia bakal mengajukan permohonan kepada negara tetangga Iran untuk memudahkan WNI yang dievakuasi melewati perbatasan.
Sebelumnya, Kementerian Luar Negeri mengungkap ada 386 WNI bermukim di Iran saat Israel menggempur Teheran sejak Jumat (13/06/2025) waktu setempat.
Kemlu meminta WNI di Iran tingkatkan kewaspadaan dan tunda perjalanan.
