Trump invita i Dem a collaborare - Umberto Pascali, Enrico Cheli
Una valanga democratica conquista sia la Camera che il Senato degli Stati Uniti. La forbice non è ampissima al Senato – 52 seggi contro 44 – ma è enorme alla Camera dei Rappresentanti: 241 seggi democratici e 149 repubblicani. Trump accetta il risultato e aggiunge “Userò i miei enormi poteri”. Conquistato dai dem anche il Texas, storico feudo repubblicano; quella del Texas è una sconfitta per i repubblicani e per Trump stesso dal forte significato, anche simbolico.
Trump ha pagato perché ha mentito sulla risoluzione veloce del conflitto in Ucraina e che non avrebbe bombardato l’Iran oppure per la situazione interna agli Stati Uniti? Benzina alle stelle, carrello della spesa sempre più costoso e rate dei mutui sempre più onerose per le famiglie? O forse queste cose sono alla fine tutte collegate fra loro?
Cosa accadrà adesso con l’Iran? E con l’Ucraina? E per noi europei?
Che significato e soprattutto che valore assume adesso il probabile/quasi sicuro e attesissimo incontro Trump Xi Jinping Putin il 18 e 19 Novembre al summit dell’APEC a Shenzhen in Cina? Che interlocutore sarà per Putin e Xi un azzoppato Trump? E’ nelle condizioni di tener fede ad eventuali impegni che dovesse prendere con Russia e Cina?
