Toscana in festa per l’arrivo del Giro d’Italia, che nella giornata di martedì ha visto lo svolgimento dell’unica tappa con percorso interamente all’interno della regione. L’attesissima cronometro da Viareggio a Massa, lungo un circuito pianeggiante di 42 km, ha visto migliaia di persone salutare il passaggio dei corridori alla partenza, all’arrivo e lungo il percorso che ha visto gli atleti passare da Torre del Lago e poi transitare dal lungomare della Versilia, fino a quello di Marina di Massa. A Viareggio fra i presenti il governatore della Regione Toscana Eugenio Giani, accolto dal sindaco Giorgio Del Ghingaro e da Ondina e Burlamacco, maschere simbolo del Carnevale.
