Jasad korban sebelumnya ditemukan mengambang tanpa busana di aliran Sungai Citarum, Desa Curug, Karawang pada Selasa (7/10).
Pelaku berinisial H (27) diringkus di Minimarket Rest Area Purwakarta, oleh Tim Taktis Sanggabuana Polres Karawang bersama Resmob Polda Jawa Barat.
Berdasarkan hasil penyelidikan awal, pelaku diketahui merupakan rekan kerja korban di minimarket yang sama.
