Визволи мене,
О Господи,
Від поганої людини,
Збережи від божевільних!

В їх серцях задуми злі,
Кожен день готуються до війни,
Вигострили свої язики,
Наче гадюки в їх устах,
Зміїна отрута.

Збережи мене, о Боже,
Від руки ворожої,
Визволи від жорстоких,
Що спинити хочуть мої кроки!

Горді ставлять таємно
Капкани на мене!
При дорозі ями риють
Даремно!

Промовляю я Христу:
«Ти – Бог мій!
Господи, почуй,
Голос моїх молінь!

Ісус – мій Владико,
Сила мого спасіння,
Ти зберіг голову мою
У день бою!»

Горді ставлять таємно
Капкани на мене!
При дорозі ями риють
Даремно!

Не здійсни, о Боже,
Наміру безбожного!
Не віддай мене грішним,
Ти мене, Боже, не залиш!

Голови оточення мого,
Покриє їхніх уст зло,
Вуглини розпечені
На них впадуть,
В огонь і безодню
Вони зійдуть!
Людина злоязична
Не встоїть на землі,
Зло вполює
І знищить її!
Знаю я,
Що Господь суд вчинить,
За убогого та бідного
